The Pregnancy Weight Gain Calculator is a tool that calculates the recommended weight gain during pregnancy based on your pre-pregnancy BMI (Body Mass Index).

⚖️ Recommended Weight Gain by BMI (Korean Standards)

  • Underweight (BMI < 18.5): 12.5 - 18 kg
  • Normal (BMI 18.5 - 22.9): 11.5 - 16 kg
  • Overweight (BMI 23 - 24.9): 7 - 11.5 kg
  • Obese (BMI ≥ 25): 5 - 9 kg

📊 Weight Gain by Pregnancy Period

  • 1st Trimester (1-13 weeks): Total 1-2 kg gain
  • 2nd Trimester (14-27 weeks): Approximately 0.4-0.5 kg per week
  • 3rd Trimester (28-40 weeks): Approximately 0.4-0.5 kg per week
